Droip is now Kirki!
To continue receiving updates and support, you’ll need to migrate to Kirki Pro. The good news is that your existing subscription, license key, and all your website data and content are fully preserved throughout the process.
Follow the steps below to complete your migration smoothly.
Make sure you have the following ready before starting:
Before making any changes, create a full backup of your WordPress site. This ensures your data is safe in the unlikely event that anything goes wrong during the migration process.
Next, you will need both the free and pro versions of Kirki installed on your site. Here is how to get them:
Go to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Plugins > Add Plugin, search for Kirki, and install and activate it.
Go to kirki.com and log in using your existing Droip credentials. Once logged in, navigate to Account Settings. You will find your current Droip subscription has been automatically carried over, and your license key remains unchanged.
Download Kirki Pro from your account and upload it to your WordPress site by going to Plugins > Add Plugin > Upload Plugin. Activate it once installed.
Once Kirki Free and Pro installation is complete, go to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Plugins. Find the Droip plugin and deactivate it.
With that done, you will see the migration notice at the top of your plugins page.
Tick off the “I’ve backed up my site” checkbox and click the “Migrate to Kirki Pro” button to start the migration.
The migration will run automatically. All your existing Droip pages, content, settings, and data will be transferred to Kirki.
Note: Your existing Droip license key will be auto-connected to Kirki Pro; no new key needed.
Once the migration is complete, everything will be right where you left it, only now running on Kirki. You can continue building and editing your website exactly as before, with access to all the powerful new features Kirki has to offer.
If you run into any issues during migration, reach out to our support team at [email protected], and we’ll be happy to help.
