Dynamic Content Manager
What is Dynamic Content
Dynamic Content refers to web content that changes based on real data rather than being hardcoded into a page.
Instead of manually updating every page whenever something changes, your pages are connected to a data source and automatically display the content requested.
This means you design a page layout once, and the actual content – text, images, dates, names – is pulled in from your data dynamically. Add a new item to your data source, and it appears on your site. Update an existing one, and the change reflects everywhere that content is displayed, instantly.
The Dynamic Content Manager
The Dynamic Content Manager is your central hub for creating, organizing, and managing all dynamic content on your site right from within the Kirki freeform website builder.
From here, you can define your content structures, fill in your data, and keep everything up to date without touching your page layouts.
Key Benefits
- Centralized Content Management – All your collections and items live in one place, making updates and organization simple.
- Automatic Content Integration – Any changes you make in the manager are instantly reflected across all relevant pages on your site.
- Flexible Field Types – Choose from a wide range of field types, including Text, Rich Text, Image, Video, Date, URL, and more, to capture exactly the information you need.

Step 2: Define Collection Fields
Collection fields define the structure of your collection – what kind of information each item will hold.
For example, a “Portfolio” collection might include fields for Title, Client Name, Description, Image, and Year.
Kirki offers a range of field types to match your content, including:
- Text
- Rich Text
- Image
- Video
- Phone
- Number
- Date
- Time
- Switch
- Option
- URL
- File
- Gallery
- Reference
- Multi-reference
Each field type comes with its own settings that you can customize to suit your needs.

Step 4: Display Dynamic Content
With your items ready, connect your collection to your pages in two ways:
- Collection List – Display a list of collection items on any page, like a portfolio showcase or a set of team member cards, using Collection Elements.
- Collection Detail Pages – Auto-generate a unique detail page for every item in your collection, so each entry gets its own URL and layout without building each page manually with Collection Templates.
